In the morning, we practiced what will become our routine by packing all our things into the trailer.
Someone on our trip managed to solicit mudguards from Ass Savers. They're colorful!
The trip leaders set up an obstacle course for us to navigate. Pastor Dan, our host, tried it out.
In our free time, Helen writes in her journal. And naps. Her musings are duplicated online at hutchens.org.
Our first ride was today! We biked down to the beach to dip our tires. A diesel truck accident closed one bridge and clogged our alternate route with traffic. But drawbridges are cool.
Helen bought me a nice cream when we got to the beach. She had key lime pie ice cream and loved it.
After dark we painted the trailer. My monopod gives some cool perspectives.
Helen drew an American map and our path. We were out until midnight painting...
... and it looks really slick.
As with yesterday's post, hover over the images for a caption. I may see about more verbosity when I have more than a phone to work with.
